The South Salem Nursery School believes a curriculum should be well rounded and offer every child the opportunity to find something that brings that extra smile to their face. Whether it's music, yoga or working on a masterpiece we have the programs that set us apart.
MUSIC
Music is part of our daily routine whether we are freeze dancing, playing instruments or learning new songs; we enjoy our music. Our music program focuses on rhythm, movement and international songs which brings delight to our children.
ART
Our extended Art Program brings our children together to learn and create a Monet, Van Gogh or Matisse. They learn techniques, work in different medium and have fun exploring. The children love creating a color chart, working together on a masterpiece or creating individual sculptures. Come by and visit our Gallery.
YOGA
In our Yoga Program children exercise, play and have fun. Children gain enormous benefits from Yoga. It enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, body awareness, ability to focus and gives them the tools to relax.
